All pet owners have a responsibility to ensure that their animals receive sufficient training and socialisation and become well adjusted members of our social environment. There is no joy (and many legal implications) in owning an aggressive and unmanageable animal that can’t be trusted to interact safely with people in your home.
We run a puppy pre-school every month for puppies aged between 6 and 16 weeks. These classes run for 1 hour every week for a total of 4 weeks, during which we teach basic training and try to pass on an understanding of what makes your dog tick so that you can better manage them at home.
It is imperative that all dogs receive basic training to ensure you have effective control over them at all times. Dogs that lack obedience tend to be come a nuisance to their owners and to the neighbours.
