We think Victoria Young has to be the luckiest pet owner in Australia.

The same day the former Townsville soldier was deployed to Afghanistan, Cleopatra and Max, her beloved cats of 11 years, ran away from home.  Victoria was convinced she would never seem them again, but more than 12 months later she’s been reunited with not one, but both of the missing pets.

Cleopatra was found living in a drain in June 2012, and we finally traced her owner Victoria through the microchip she was wearing (click here to read this story and watch the Sunrise video).

Now, in a miraculous turn of events, Victoria has been reunited with Max after the same person found him and brought him to our Clinic.

Victoria is understandably overjoyed and can’t quite believe her luck.

We’re all keeping our fingers crossed that the lady who found the two cats, Dayel Kerley, is soon reunited with her own missing cat.
